First time drone buyer. I Looking at a used Mavic Pro 2. I read a review on this site (very helpful). Regarding the Follow Me feature, the article mentions it can follow 2 directions.
D vs an anyone elaborate on this? One of the things I want to use it for is Adventure Motorcycling (usually on forest service roads over mountain passes, etc.).
Would the two directions be an issue?
Hi Rickyv - Welcome to the Forum! No, the DJI Mavic Pro 2 does not have a Follow Me mode. Instead, it has an Active Track mode that can automatically identify up to 16 objects, including people, vehicles, and boats, and use different tracking strategies to follow them. However, Follow Me mode relies on the GPS accuracy of a mobile device, and a phone’s signal may not reach longer distances.
Thanks for that clarity. I think the picking up a used Magic Pro 2 will be the direction I go on this.
