What is the most profitable drone business to get into?
Hands down would have to be sub-contracting for light and power companies after major disasters that disrupt or even completely down public services.
Case in point, here in Florida, after Hurricane Ian, drone operators were getting paid daily $750 plus travel, food, and hotel to assist FPL (Florida Light and Power) with their projects. That’s not even a maximum number. Others have been getting paid, easily, $1000+/day for drone-related services.
Now, if we are talking consistent work, not related to disasters, I’d say that the Real Estate market here is pretty profitable, as professional home photos are starting to take an upturn due to the market self-correcting now. The only problem with Real Estate is that most agents are looking for an all-inclusive service. They want interior photographers (first) that also do drone shots.
