Hello. I have a Yuneec Typhoon 500+ drone which uses Lipo type battery ay 11.1 volt. Because of these lipo type batteries being so volatile & complicated to charge/discharge etc, I want to use a different type of battery, thats more simplke & easier to use. Can anyone suggest a type I can use other than lipo please, and where I can get one?

Hello Neil and welcome to the DP forums!
As it stands right now, most consumer GPS drones are using LiPo batteries because of the benefits of doing so (easily expandable capacity and voltage).
From my research, I have not found any other type of battery outside LiPos that will work with the drone.
