Pairing RC with screen with new mini 3

I lost my mini 3, tree on a small island in the river, no one can get to it and even the birds don’t land there, cant see it binos
If I get a refurbed dji mini 3 will i be able to pair it with the Rc with a screen?
I looked at the drone and said yep it will clear but my depth perception was off, last thing the controller said was ready for take off, maybe if the river runs dry or it freezes real good,wont run dry and current to fast to freeze

I lost myfirst two mini-3’s, one crashed in a tree, one in the ocean. Pairing new ones was not a problem.

Thanks I dont feel as bad now,My first went in the tree next door, knocked gimbal out of socket, now this one tree in a river
