My name is Matt Dodson and I am living in central Vermont. I run a single member LLC - Dodson Drone Solutions, LLC where I do lots of different drone related jobs.

I mostly do Solar Array inspections and have an Inspire 1 with Zenmuse XT and Zenmuse X3 cameras. I have also done roofing inspections with the XT camera as well as an inspection at a powerplant (we were looking for a leak in the cooling tower).

I also fly an Autel EVO 2 Pro and my “first” drone a DJI Mavic Air. I have done a bunch of real estate photography, 3D modeling, and a little bit or orthomosaic mapping with these drones. The Mavic Air might still be my favorite drone of the 4 I own, because it can do so much and is so small.

Recently I purchased an Arris X220 FPV drone that I’m learning to fly. It’s a lot of fun, but very different than flying with a “regular” drone. I’m hoping to get proficient at it so I can incorporate that type of footage into my offerings to clients.

That’s about it for my drone life. I like to snowboard :snowboarder: in the winter and race my car :racing_car: in the summers, as well as fly my drone pretty much everywhere I go. Thanks for taking the time to get to know me.

Thanks for checking in and introducing yourself. It looks like you have quite a bit of knowledge pertaining to quite the gambit of drones…nice.

I’m originally from New England (Ct), but I couldn’t stand the cold and headed down to sunny Fl back in '04.

If you ever get any footage with your drones while out and about in the winter, I’d love to see it. Nothing like watching winter activities from the comfort of your warm couch, lol.
